| Bio: | Okay the long and short of it: I've lived just about my whole life in New York. I grew up on Long Island(yes, I have an accent). I lived in Philly for four years when I went to college(Go "Nova Wildcats!). I also spent 3 years getting my MBA, so glad I'm done with that! I read quite a bit. I've been saying for years "I'm reading 'the classics,'" but I have also read a lot of more recent stuff including Memoirs of a Geisha. So good, and my most recent favorites: The Birth of Venus, Prep and The Time Travelers Wife. My all time favorite books: are a toss-up between Catcher in the Rye, The Count of Monte Cristo and To Kill A Mockingbird. I watch way too much television. I have a dual recording DVR and a TiVo. I like a lot of shows, including Smallville, Gossip Girl, OTH, Dirty Sexy Money, House, NCIS, Moonlight, Friday Night Lights, Cold Case, Without a Trace, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, Heros, Kyle XY, Wildfire, The 4400, Dead Zone, Entourage and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. However, I get all fangirly over only one. I have a *major* obsession with Supernatural, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. J2 rocks me so hard I almost can't take it. Sam/Dean and Jensen/Jared are my crack. They are so pretty it hurts. I'm a Jensen girl 51% of the time and a Jared girl 49% of the time. Sam and Dean own my soul 50/50 as I could never choose between the two brothers.   I adore Jason Dohring, but have pretty much lost interest in anything else that has to do with VM. Occasionally, I dabbled in writing VM fanfic, but not anymore. I plan on watching Moonlight on CBS and basking JFDoh as a 400 year old hedge fund trading vampire. *shivers*  ETA: Friending policy: I don't have a strict friending policy, if I recognize you because you comment in my journal, on my fic or I recognize you because of your own postings and fic I'll probably friend you back. If I don't recognize you I'll probably check out your profile and journal to see if you post often or if we have common interests. If I don't friend you back it's mostly because I want active posters/commenter's with similar interests to mine on my flist.  | |
